Rishid glanced over at his partner, and then looked over the various chemicals they were to be working with.
"So...we're working with acid? Isn't that dangerous?"

"Seems like it, mate." Valon smirked, looking curiously at the chemicals before lifting his gaze to his much taller companion. "I think we're supposed to wear gloves."

He picked the thick gloves up off the table and put on a pair.
"I'm very confused about how knowing how to burn things chemically is useful or practical in real life settings. Is it a surface people thing?"

Surface people? He wanted to ask but by the looks of that guy, he wasn't going to get much information out of him, so Valon pushed that aside, foccusing his attention on the board and then next to the other pair of gloves, putting them on before getting started. "I have no idea, but if we can make somethin' explote then I'm in."

He looked over at the board and then back at Rishid with a pout. "Ya really are going to follow every instruction, huh?" Mental note; change them before the professor comes in so they can have several explosions over the lab.

"'Cause it's not fun tha' way?" Valon replied with a tone that suggested it was an obvious answer, but appearently it wasn't for someone like Rishid. With a sigh of defeat, Valon clasped his hands together. "Alright then, let's get this done so I can get out as soon as possible."

"Pfft." He rolled his eyes and leaned in closer to Rishid, glancing over the board and then to the containers. "Do ya actually have an idea of wha' to do?" Good, that meant less work for him, at least he had that.

"If ya say so." Valon shrugged, sitting further back on his seat as he watched Rishid start mixing sustances. He doubted that the male was going to allow him take any part on it, given his previous suggestion about making a mess out of it. For a moment, his eyes diverted to their surroundings, seeing the other students work in their respective stations. There was Raphael and that girl from the party who had stepped on broken glass...then there was his drinking buddy with the angry little woman and thank God Jou was at the end of the room, being a pain in somebody's else ass. After eyes were done scanning the lab, Valon returned his attention to Rishid who was still, foccused on the chemicals. "Need any help?" He hoped not.

He really couldn't see the board thanks to the distance he was at, and at this point, he was just trying not to die based on the blurry lines that made up the words.
