Okay this was, not working. Not working in the slightest. There were too many people. There was too much noise. He didn't know a single person here. This was, awful, actually. Awful and....this was pathetic. He couldn't even work up the nerve to talk to someone. Not even to ask a question. This was...alright. The good thing though, was that no one seemed to notice him. This was nothing new, and actually something Bakura preferred. The perfect impression of a Victorian era child. Seen, not heard. Or in this case not seen, not heard. Fine then, he could work with this. Bakura inched his way along the wall once more until he was close enough to the speakers, then he ducked behind them quickly. Okay. Electrical wires. He could...deal with this? Just...okay. Acting purely on the mercy of chance, Bakura pulled out one of the wires from one port and plugged them into a different port. The music stopped abruptly. Ah. Finally. Silence. With a feeling of mild satisfaction Bakura ducked back out from the speakers and through the door. He didn't stop moving until he was outside once again. Ahhh. Beautiful silence.

Jou heard the lyrics and the rhythm of the bass end, but he figured it was some other kind of music coming on. He looked around to see if anyone else noticed.

Raphael looked around when he noticed that the music had ended and not transitioned into another song. "Is--is the party over?" he asked everyone within earshot. "It's a little early for that, isn't it?"

The sudden silence didn't go unnoticed, not even with the amount of alcohol Valon had already in his system. "Oi! Wha' the hell happened?!" His annoyance wasn't hard to spot as he yelled, looking for the responsable for such thing. Since no one seemed to move to fix this, Valon placed his bottle on top of the table and walked behind the speakers, realizing someone must had changed the wires. Putting them back in their respective place, the music was brought back to life and even louder than before.
Returning to his spot next to Amane, hands reached for his bottle but kept a glare at the speakers, in case someone dared to mute it again.

Rishid eventually stumbled upon Jou, whom he somewhat knew, and tapped his shoulder. "Um, excuse me, have you seen my sister? She's kinda short, long black hair, blue eyes, usually kinda angry but acts like a kid when drunk."

...Damn. The music was back. A small part of him congratulated whoever it was that was able to figure it out that quickly. Must be a mechanical student. Bakura stood there a moment contemplating. Return to his own dorm and just deal with this, or go back in and this time, actually engage another human being. Engage. Another person. Willingly. Briefly Bakura entertained the thought of simply cutting the power to the entire building but this was only his first day back. He had gotten away with a lot in the past mainly because he knew when and how to act. And a mild annoyance hardly warranted such a large move this early. So that left...engage or deal with it. He stared hard at his sneakers, bringing a hand up to push the glasses back up his nose when the angle caused them to slip down. Okay. Fine. He could do this. He could talk to another human. No big deal. Gritting his teeth and turning on his heel, Bakura marched back to the other dorm and this time knocked. Maybe if he directly engaged with whoever answered the door, he could just ask them and not have to enter the building at all.

She was messed up, so I walked her home. She's safe and sound in bed with her....Mr B." He wouldn't tell her secret out loud.

He nodded. "Thanks a lot. I owe you one." The corners of his eyes crinkled as he smiled. "Yeah. She can't sleep without it."

He nodded. "You're welcome, Rishid." He shrugged. "Better than her being around here where some frat guy's not gonna listen if she fight back."

He looked around at the crowd nervously. "Kinda hard not to listen to her. Especially when her foot hits your groin."

He laughed loudly at that. "Haha. Maybe. But... well. You hear stuff about these parties. I thought it'd be better safe than sorry."

Amane swayed slightly through the commotion due to the lack of music, and kept taking small sips of whatever fruity shit she'd picked up. Some kind of wine? Who knew. The room was just this shy of spinning, and she could feel a chill run down her back that was betrayed by the vibrant blush on her face. Oh yeah, this was a good night.
When Valon came back and the music was blaring even louder than before, she hiccuped softly and smiled up at him. "Didja fix it?"

"Yeah. I should probably leave now that I know she's okay." He glanced around. "People make me nervous."

No one was answering. Rude. Letting out an angry exhale of breath Bakura folded his arms tightly over his chest. Fine then. One again Bakura turned on his heel and stared walking. Instead of returning to his own dorm, this time he walked the perimeter of the building around to the back side. As he walked he thought about his choice. Did he REALLY want to cut power to a building? The answer was no. Of course he didn't. He stopped walking and stood there in internal debate once again. Just...ugh.
